Before You Start
Make sure you have:
Your Charging Case with more than 50% battery
Bluetooth enabled on your phone
Your Smart Lights removed from the Charging Case (leave the case empty during the update)
The UNIT 1 App installed and updated
Step-by-step: How to update your Charging Case
Open the UNIT 1 App
Go to Settings > Smart Light > You will see ‘Charging Case’ option
Tap on Charging Case
Confirm you have a Charging Case. If you don’t own one, do not confirm.
Tap ‘Continue’
Press power button of the Charging Case several times until the app detects it.
💡 Tip: There isn’t a fixed number of taps required—it can vary anywhere from 10 to 30 taps depending on the situation. Keep tapping quickly and consistently until the app detects the charging case.
The key is to maintain a steady rhythm and avoid long pauses between taps.
Once the app detects the Charging Case, wait until connection is established.
Once connection is established, tap on ‘Update’.
Wait until Update is completed. Do not exit the app, lock your phone during the process or press the Charging Case.
Once completed, tap ‘Close’.
Charging Case is successfully updated! You will still see the option available in Settings to update in case you purchase another Charging Case.
