Need more information about the employee’s experience with Fido by MedZERO?

Is there an extra cost?

  • No, there is no additional cost to accessing the Fido by medZERO Vet Spending Card program.

What is the interest rate?

  • ZERO interest and no fees. Period.*

Can groups opt out of this inclusion?

  • No; the Fido by medZERO Vet Spending Card is a core feature of the UPC program, not an optional add-in.

Is the group or employer responsible for any repayment issues?

  • No, the group and/or employer is not responsible for any repayment issues.*

Do I need to do any extra work for this benefit?

  • No! Members will automatically receive the ability to access the card, and UPC will provide them with instructions on how to access and use the card. If members have any questions about the program, please send them to UPC Customer Support.

What happens after the 6 or 12 months expires and the member has not paid their balance on their card?

  • If members are unable to complete their repayments within their term, they should directly contact Fido by medZERO support. The support team will work with them on a solution that fits their situation. There is no cost to employers for missed payments or unpaid loans.*

What happens if someone leaves our company?

  • If an employee leaves your company, they will continue to have access to the Fido by medZERO Vet Spending Card as long as they remain a UPC member. If they end their UPC membership, they will continue to repay their outstanding balance according to their existing repayment terms, and will not be able to use the card for any new expenses.*
