Import Serial Numbers field definitions

Descriptions of the fields available in the Import Serial Numbers template.

Use the Import Serial Numbers template to turn on serialisation for a product and provide unique serial numbers for the product's current Stock on Hand (SOH). If the product does not currently have SOH, use the Import Products template to turn on serialisation instead.

πŸ“Œ Note: The Import Serial Numbers template is only available if Serialized Products is enabled in your account's settings.

Import Serial Numbers template field

Description

*Product Code

The unique Product Code for the product.

*Warehouse Code

The Warehouse Code where the product currently has SOH.

*Serial Number

The unique serial number per unit of the product. Each serial number requires its own row per product.

Character limit is 50.

πŸ€“ Tip: Products without any SOH cannot be updated to be serialized using the Import Serial Numbers template. Instead, use the Import Products template.

Serial number characters

To support serial numbers encoded in the primary Code 128 barcode format, Unleashed supports any ASC11 character code between 32 and 126, as per the table below
