Due to Amazon's Data Protection Policy Unleashed will not receive any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) via the eCommerce Hub's Amazon integration. This means that no customer name, delivery address, email address, or contact numbers will be sent to Unleashed from Amazon's customer or order details.
Sales Orders created from the Amazon integration will only include the following delivery details, if provided in the Amazon order or customer:
City
State/Region
Post Code
Country
You can find each customer and order's identifiable delivery details, including customer contact information and addresses, in your Amazon Seller account.
We appreciate that this limit to PII per Order may require changes to your Sales Order management processes, or that you may find it inefficient. Please be assured that we have done all we can to avoid the problems this requirement creates, and unfortunately, this is beyond our control.
PII when Fulfilled By Merchant (FBM)
When an Amazon order is FBM, the following behaviours will apply to Unleashed depending on the Order Import Option selected in the Amazon store's configuration.
FBM: Order Import Option | Amazon integration behaviour |
Use a single customer for all Amazon orders. | A Sales Order will be created in Unleashed with the allocated Single Customer. |
Create an order and a customer based on each Amazon order. | A Sales Order will be created under a single customer record.
