The Review transaction statuses

In this article we will discuss the different statuses of the Review tab.

The Review tab will create transactions as you submit changes on the modelling page, or save a forecast. Initially, these transactions will have the status of 'Active'

This indicates that the details you submitted are the last changes made in AIM.

If you submit a new transaction that includes all the products that are already on an Active transaction, or simply review an active transaction, then a new active transaction will be logged and the previous one will be logged as 'Inactive.'

Inactive transactions are hidden by default, unless you toggle 'Show inactive' in the Review filter panel.

If you create a transaction by modelling a group of products, and some of those products are on an active transaction, you will create a new Active transaction, while the previous one now has some of its products in an inactive state. The transaction will be marked as 'Mixed' to indicate that some of the products are inactive.

Similarly, if you review or submit products, but some of them have unchanged min/max stock controls, they will be excluded from the new transaction. Therefore, you may review a modelling transaction, and find that it creates a new active transaction for some of the products, while the ones that had no resulting change of the recalculation remain on the old transaction with the status now showing as 'Mixed.'
