Sending with Unscripted’s server

When you send an email through Unscripted’s server, it will use the business email address you’ve set up within the app. This is the simplest way to send client emails directly from your business address.

Sending with your own email platform

You can also choose to send links or pre-saved messages through your own email platform, like Apple Mail or Gmail. In this case, the app will open your chosen platform, and it’s up to you to select which email address you’d like to use.

FAQs

Q: When I click Share via email, I get an error notification.
A: This usually happens if you don’t have the Apple Mail app installed on your device. To fix this, you can:

  • Install and set up Apple Mail on your device, or

  • Tap the More button instead, then choose the Gmail app (or another email platform) from the list that appears.

Q: How do I make sure the email is sent from my business email and not my personal one?
A: When you share a questionnaire, invoice, contract, or pre-saved message via the app, you’ll see multiple options:

  • Share via email will automatically open Apple Mail on iPhone.

  • If you prefer Gmail (or another email app), tap More, then select Gmail (or your chosen app) from the pop-up window.

Whichever platform you use, make sure your business email address is already added in your Apple Mail or Gmail account settings. That way, it will show up in the From section when you send your email.

If your business email isn’t set up in your chosen platform, it won’t appear as a sending option.
