On the App:
Go to My Biz > Invoicing.
Select Stripe under payment methods and follow the prompts.
On the Web Platform:
Navigate to your Dashboard > Business > Invoicing > Payment Methods.
Choose Stripe and connect your account.
Important: The first payment made through Stripe can take up to 7 days to go through as your bank authenticates the payment.
Fees:
Stripe fees vary by country but start at 1.75% + $0.30 for domestic card payments. These fees are automatically deducted from each payment and are considered a standard business cost. It’s recommended to factor them into your pricing rather than adjusting fees on a case-by-case basis.
Buy Now, Pay Later Options:
BNPL options are also available through your Stripe dashboard, giving your clients more flexible payment choices.
Troubleshooting Stripe:
If you disconnect and reconnect Stripe, it can sometimes create a new Stripe sub-account under your main account. If you think this has happened:
Log in to your Stripe Dashboard.
Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner.
You should see any sub-accounts listed there.
If you see more than one account, only Stripe Support can remove or close duplicate sub-accounts, so reach out to them for assistance.
