Initial filtration lets you screen submissions before evaluators see them. There are two ways to do it: quiz questions (built in, no setup needed) and AI Screening (needs an AI provider).
I. Setting Up Quiz Questions
Add quiz-style questions directly in your submission form.
Open the round's Submission Form tab and choose the track.
Add a multiple-choice question (for example a Radio Button Group).
Select the question and open the Data tab in the right-hand panel.
Set the correct answer. Each correct answer is worth 1 point.
Save the form.
II. Using Quiz Scores for Filtration
Quiz scores appear for each submission in the round's Submissions tab.
Use the scores to decide which submissions to qualify or disqualify before assigning evaluators: select them and use ⋯ More options → Qualify / Disqualify.
To qualify automatically, set rules in Settings → Qualification Settings (Experimental).
III. AI Screening
AI Screening scores each submission on criteria such as Clarity, Relevance, Creativity and Ethics (plus a custom criterion) and compares it with a threshold you set.
Connect an AI provider in Gear icon → Platform Settings → Integrations → AI Integration.
In the round, go to Settings → AI Screening Settings. Set the Screening Threshold, the Decision Fallback (for example Needs Review) and the criteria you want, then save.
Run screening from the Submissions tab with ⋯ More options → AI Screening, or turn on Auto-screen upcoming submissions. Results appear in the AI Screening view.
