All employees, both Admins and Workforce users will need to get Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to access the ADA Assist. Previously, only Admins and SuperAdmins had to do a daily MFA for their access to the ADA Assist, but, now all users will need to log in using their Username and Password and get a 6-digit code One Time Password in their email to gain access to the ADA Assist.
This requirement will only be ONCE DAILY for access. If employees did their daily MFA, and then the site times out due to inactivity, they will not need a new MFA to log back in. There is only once a day that this MFA will be needed (as it is currently for Admins and SuperAdmins).
If employees have forgotten their Log-in email or enter an incorrect Password, they will be allowed 5 attempts to enter the correct password before they will be locked out of the system for ONE hour. When the employee enters their 5 incorrect password, they will receive an error message that states, "Your account has been locked due to multiple incorrect login attempts. Please verify your credentials and try again later."
The system will start an hour waiting time from this 5th log in attempt and employees will not be able to log in until the 1 hour has elapsed. After the 1 hour has expired, the employee will then be able to log in again with correct credentials, or reset their password, if needed and try again.
