What is ADA Assist?

ADA Assist is a simple online tool designed to help you easily and securely make an ADA accommodations request.

What are ADA Accommodations?

ADA accommodations are reasonable modifications that help employees with disabilities perform essential functions of their job. This could include a change to your working conditions, a request for an assistive device, and/or time away from work if other entitlements have been exhausted (such as leave).

What will I be asked to provide?

You’ll be asked to provide details supporting your need for a reasonable accommodation, which may include supporting medical documentation.

What will be done with my medical information? Is my information secure?

Unum is an industry leader in managing compliance, ADA and sensitive medical records. ADA Assist complies with all applicable confidentiality laws and obligations, as well as data security responsibilities, record management and document storage. Your information will only be viewed by your internal ADA Assist HR Admin team for the purpose of ensuring compliance and following up with employees as needed.
