Leave Status Reports for Unum Customers

If you are a Unum Leave or Total Leave customer, you can take a proactive approach with employees who may be in need of ADA accommodations.

If you are a Unum Leave or Total Leave customer, you can review the status of employee leave requests to identify employees who may be in need of ADA accommodations.

Claim and Leave Insight Application

Step 1: Navigate to the Claim and Leave Insights application

Step 2: Click the "CLI Standard Reports" tab at the top of your page'

Step 3: Click the dropdown arrow next to "Leave Reporting"

Step 4: Click "Detail Integrated Absence Report"

Step 5: Select the desired "Report Group(s)" if applicable.

Step 6: Click "Run" to generate the report.

Step 7: Click the dropdown arrow next to "HTML".

Step 8: Click the desired format for your report. We recommend Excel so you can filter the results.

Step 9: Click the desired Excel format.

Step 10: Open the downloaded report.

Step 11: Filter the report to identify employees who are not eligible for FMLA.

  • Column G to filter for Employee Health

  • Column P will show Denied status

  • Column Q to filter for Ineligible and/or Time Exhausted

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you would like to save this report and/or schedule the report to automatically run on a scheduled cadence with reminder emails, you can find detailed assistance under the "CLI Help" tab at the top of your screen.

Unum Status Emails

If you have opted to receive status emails from Unum, you will be able to easily identify employees who might qualify for ADA services.
