What is the new feature?

Employee User Cards have permission control features. With this feature, SuperAdmins can assign locations and/or departments so that their Admins will only see the requests that fall under their assigned filters. These assignments permit Admins to only view and process accommodation requests within their location and/or department restrictions.

Who can edit the permission controls?

Below is a breakdown of how the permission capabilities differ for SuperAdmins and Admins. We encourage all HR teams to have a minimum of two SuperAdmins so there is always coverage for the specific role capabilities.

What are the navigation instructions?

A SuperAdmin can assign specific locations and/or departments to an Admin by opening the Admin's user card and selecting the restrict access checkbox. Then, they will select the appropriate drop down location and/or department for the Admin user. Making these selections will limit the Admin’s access so they only see the employee requests within the specified locations and/or departments.

What selections will appear in the department drop downs?

If there IS an eligibility file then the department options available in the dropdown will include the department group names within the file feed.

SuperAdmins can assign permissions to see selected Admins in their Organization.

If there ISN’T an eligibility file, then the department options available in the dropdown will include the department names assigned to the employees within the User Cards.
