Where do I create a queue?
In the Inbox, select Admin (top right).
Select Queues from the Admin menu on the left.
Select + New.
The Create Queue screen opens.
Note: Only admins can see Admin. If you don’t see it, ask an admin at your practice.

Enter a Display Name (required). This is the name your team sees.
Leave Active checked so the queue can be used.
Optional: Check Other practices can add to this queue? (see below).
Choose an option in Convert Printed/Uploaded documents in (required).
Choose who can access the queue.
Choose which locations the queue belongs to.
Select Save.

Which document conversion option should I choose?
Smart B&W is recommended for most practices.
Option | Best for |
Smart B&W (recommended) | Best balance of file size and clarity |
Black & White | Faxes and text reports (smallest files) |
Grayscale | Black-and-white pictures (medium-sized files) |
Color (256 colors) | Text and reports with color (medium-sized files) |
Color (16 million colors) | Photos (largest files) |
How do I choose who can access the queue?
Under Allow these users access to this queue, do one of the following:
Everyone: Check Share with all users.
Only certain people: Check each user’s name under Available Users. To find someone quickly, type their name in Filter by First or Last Name.
Important: Only users with access to a queue can see the texts, forms, and faxes sent to it.
How do I link the queue to a location?
Under Associate this queue with locations, check each location the queue belongs to, such as Default Location.
Why can’t someone see items in a queue?
They probably aren’t added to that queue. To fix it:
Go to Inbox > Admin (top right) > Queues.
Select the queue.
Check the user’s name under Available Users.
Select Save.
Tip: If your practice has a queue for each location, make sure the user is added to every location queue they need.
