So now that you've set up your UpHabit account, you may be wondering why your email information and phone book contacts are required.

Integrations are external accounts that you can connect to UpHabit for the purpose of managing your contacts. Examples of this are your phone’s address book, Gmail, or Microsoft accounts. 

For your phone's address book (available on iOS only), you are able to import all of your address book contacts into UpHabit. Their information, such as name, email, phone number can be found in UpHabit. Furthermore, you are able to edit the contact in UpHabit by adding a description, tags or social profiles.

For Gmail and Microsoft accounts, you are able to sync all of your contacts from these accounts into UpHabit. Additionally, UpHabit has the ability to scan your Sent box over the last 6 months, and retrieve those contacts, which can be found in the New tab.

UpHabit has been approved through Google's new verification process for integrated accounts. UpHabit is a privacy-first company, and as we've said before, we'd all quit if privacy wasn't our primary focus.
