Hi there!

Thank you for subscribing to UpHabit, we’re very excited to have you here! The following sections describe how to download the app, what to expect from the app, how to provide feedback, and how to report bugs. It also has more information about the work that we’re planning for our full launch!

Your feedback is the most important thing to us, so please don’t hesitate to let us know what you think. Nevertheless, we hope you enjoy our app!

Downloading UpHabit from the Google Play store

  1. Open the Google Play Store

  2. Search for UpHabit

  3. Download and enjoy UpHabit!

What to Expect from UpHabit

UpHabit helps you develop deeper and more authentic high-quality relationships. UpHabit scans your sent folders in Google and Microsoft email systems and presents a list of people you've sent emails to, as far back as a full year. Then you tell UpHabit how frequently you'd like to reach out to those people and we'll remind you based on the schedule you've asked us to follow. You can add a description about your contacts, as well as adding notes specific to the conversation you track via UpHabit. UpHabit lets you start the conversation via email, text, or phone.

Here is a quick explanation of what UpHabit can do:

  • Today tab: The Today tab is a list of contacts that you have set reminders for that you are being prompted to contact today. Here you can verify that you reached out by selecting We Connected.

  • We Connected: When you select We Connected, you can enter more contextual information about that interaction and manage all your relationship reminders.

  • New tab: The New tab contains all of your contacts without reminders. It groups them by date most recently contacted. This is where you go to find your most recently added contacts!

  • People tab:  Your entire list of contacts and relationships (those with reminders set) for you to manage. You can additionally add and edit contacts at will!

  • Settings tab: Here you can find links to the Help Centre and to connect with our Support team. You can also manage all your account integrations and read our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy!

  • Push Notifications: Receive emails that send you to UpHabit when it’s time to do something.

  • Account Management: Allowing you to add multiple email accounts from Google, Microsoft, and your phone's Local Address Book.

In order for us to add contacts from various integrations, UpHabit will require your authorization. For example, if you authorize your email, we retrieve a list of people from your sent folder in order to determine who you have spoken to.

Your security and privacy are a priority for us. We will (eventually!) be a subscription-based business, and we do not make our money by selling your data. You are the customer... period.

How to Submit Feedback

There are three ways that you can submit feedback to UpHabit.

The first is through Instabug. Here's how you do it:

  • Instabug is invoked when the device is shaken

  • Select “Suggest an Improvement”.

  • Enter your email and context about your suggested improvement. If you would like, there are additional options to help provide context to the issue, such as Screen Recording, Take a Screenshot, or Select Image from Gallery.

  • Click the plane in the corner to submit.

You can also email us at feedback@uphabit.com with whatever is on your mind. Please include contextual information such as your type of device and what version of Android you’re using.

Lastly, you can open the Support tab at the bottom to open a chat window with a member of the UpHabit team.

How to Report Bugs

If you want to report a bug in-app, there are two ways to do so.

Here's how you report bugs via Instabug:

  • Instabug is invoked when the device is shaken

  • Select “Report a Problem”.

  • Enter your email and context about your bug. If you would like, there are additional options to help provide context to the issue, such as Screen Recording, Take a Screenshot, or Select Image from Gallery.
