You can now turn on social enrichment at UpHabit. There are three settings, one for each of LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. You find them by opening your Google or Microsoft integrations under Settings > Linked Sources and turning them on. Within a couple hours you'll have a lot of new contacts, photos and social profiles.

UpHabit does not integrate directly with the social platforms - We read, temporarily store and analyze the emails that you receive from the platforms and we create a new contact or add the details to an existing contact.

Here is a breakdown of which notifications we are currently supporting:

  • LinkedIn: Invites (can be found in Settings -> Communications -> Email -> Network)

  • Facebook: Birthdays, Friend Requests and Messages (can be found in Settings -> Notifications

  • Twitter: Direct messages (can be found in More -> Settings and Privacy -> Notifications -> Email Notifications

The emails we parse will be coming from:

Once those social emails start coming in, UpHabit automatically parses the bodies of the email and look for contacts from those networks and their details. No human is involved in the process, the email body is discarded as soon as the parsing is done. This only happens with your permission as this feature needs to be turned on to allow access. This enrichment happens on regular ingestion intervals of roughly 24 hours.
