Based off of his global survey, Dr Misner identified attitude as a key factor in networking. He identifies two types of individuals; engines and anchors. Engines are solutions-focused and go into challenges with a positive attitude. Anchors, on the other hand, simply complain about the challenges they face. Building a strong network is all about distinguishing between engines and anchors, and creating a network of engines.
