Everyone has connections that are 'weak,' lacking much contact or shared experience. Yet, these contacts can be valuable as referral partners or clients. A John Hopkins study found that 83% of jobs originated from weak tie connections. Turner highlights three strategies to build this weak networking, including finding centers of influence, building real, not just virtual, connections, and staying on top of mind of your connections.
