Lateral Pelvis Tilt (Hitting)

What it is:

Front hip hikes or drops unevenly when lifting the stride leg.

Why it matters:

Unlevel hips = unstable base, disrupting timing and balance.

Good mechanics in this phase look like:

  • Hips remain level when stride leg lifts.

  • Load stays balanced and ready to drive.

How to address it:

  • Drills: Stride & pause balance drill, mirror feedback, hip stability exercises.

  • Cues: “Keep your belt buckle level.”
