What it is:

When the front knee caves buckles after foot plant.

Why it matters:

Reduces power, destabilizes rotation, and can increase injury risk.

Good mechanics in this phase look like:

  • Front knee braces firmly at landing.

How to address it:

  • Drills: Single-leg stability work, wall-drive drills.

  • Cues: “Strong knee,” “Hold your brace.”
