Calibration teaches your GO what your own desired posture is.

Calibrating will determine how your GO will measure your posture. All feedback the GO gives you is according to this baseline, so it's important you calibrate properly.

When to calibrate

Calibrate your GO every time you place it on your back, or whenever you feel it isn’t set properly. No worries, if you don't calibrate your GO, the app will remind you to.
You can repeat this step whenever you feel that your slouch position is not properly identified or if the GO vibrates too much.

How to find your target upright posture for calibration

Try to calibrate in the body position where you are expecting to use your GO most often, it will be most accurate for sitting if you calibrate while sitting, for example.

1 - Get into a comfortable upright position. Imagine there's a string pulling you up, elongating your spine.
2 - Make sure you don't overextend or stiffen up. You should be able to hold this position for a while.
3 - Relax and don't forget to breathe.

How to calibrate

Once you find your comfortable upright position, calibrate your GO either from the app or from the device itself.

Tap the "Calibrate" button on the app’s home screen.

To calibrate from the GO itself double-click the power button

When calibrating from the device, you'll immediately feel 2 short vibrations, then stay upright for another second.
