How to Sort Orders and Create Custom Filters

Guide to sorting orders and creating customized filters on the Orders page

Overview

The Orders page is an overview of every marketplace order in Lister. This article guides how to sort orders by criteria and save custom filters for quick access.

Default Order Filters

Lister has 5 default filters to view your orders. Clicking these filters will show you orders that meet the criteria explained below:

  1. All: Shows all orders that have been imported to Lister, regardless of payment or fulfillment status

  2. Open: Shows all orders that have not been marked as fulfilled in Lister, regardless of payment status

  3. Ready to Fulfill: Shows all open orders that are paid and either partially fulfilled or unfulfilled

  4. Overdue & Urgent: Shows all orders that are not marked as fulfilled are past due or need to be shipped within the next 2 days. If this tab isn't visible to you, there are no late shipments. 🎉

    • Overdue: Ship By Date stipulated by the marketplace is in the past

    • Urgent: Ship By Date stipulated by the marketplace is due within the next two days

  5. Not Found: Shows all orders that include an item that was marked missing in Link while picking. If this tab isn't visible to you, there are no missing items. 🎉


How to Sort Orders

Click the “Sort” button in the upper right corner of the orders page to choose how to sort orders.

Sort in ascending or descending order from the following option:

  • Order Number

  • Paid Date

  • Order Date

  • Ship by Date

  • Inventory Location

  • Supplier

  • Shipping Method

  • Customer Name

  • Payment Status

  • Fulfillment Status

  • Total Price


How To Create and Save Custom Filters

Filter presets can save you a ton of time looking up specific types of orders by applying certain filters. Click the “More filters” button in the upper right corner of the orders page to view available filters.


Custom Filter Options

Clicking the names of the filter options expands the section to show available options You can choose one or multiple filters from the choices below:

  • Channel: Select one or more of your connected marketplaces

  • By Category: Filters orders that only include items that match a specific item category

  • Payment status: Displays orders that match a selected payment status

  • Pick and Pack Status: Filters results to show the selected picking or packed status

  • Fulfillment Status: Shows orders that are unfulfilled, partially or fully fulfilled, or have not had a physical pack slip printed

  • Ship Timeline: Filter to only show Overdue or Urgent orders

  • Date: Select a date range and choose between “Ordered between, Paid between” or Ship by Date”

  • Order Type: Choose between “Single-item orders”, “Multi-item orders” or “Any”

  • Shipping Method: Select one or more shipping methods associated with the orders

  • Shipping Destination: Choose between Domestic, International or Any

  • In Location: Filters results to only show orders in selected inventory locations


Saving Filters

After selecting custom filters from the “More Filters” menu, click the “Save filters” button in the upper right corner of the Orders page.

Name the filter something easily recognizable and click the blue “Save filters” button in the pop-up box.


Example Custom Filters

Partially Paid/Partially Refunded, Unshipped Orders

Shows team leads and management all orders that have been given a partial refund and have not been shipped.

  • Payment Status: Partially Refunded, Partially Paid

  • Fulfillment Status: Unfulfilled, Partially Fulfilled

Unfulfilled Local Pickup Orders

Only shows unfulfilled local pickup orders.

  • Payment Status: Paid

  • Fulfillment Status: Unfulfilled, Partially Fulfilled

  • Shipping method: Pickup


How to Rename a Saved Filter

You can edit the names of a saved custom filter by following these steps:

  1. Click the name of the filter you want to edit from the top of the Orders page

  2. Click the “Edit filters” button

  3. Rename the filter

  4. Click the blue “Update tab name” button


How to Delete a Saved Filter

You can delete a saved custom filter by following these steps:

  1. Click the name of the filter you want to edit from the top of the Orders page

  2. Click the “Edit filters” button

  3. Click the trashcan icon in the lower right of the popup box
