Overview
For some items, you may want to require your buyer to come pickup their purchase at the warehouse.
This can be accomplished with the Shopify Local Pickup workflow. The following article walks through how to create a local pickup requirement:
Once you've configured your Local Pickup location on Shopify, if you haven't already, please connect your Shop to Lister.
Admin Configuration
If you ever make adjustments to your location settings on Shopify, you can use the Lister Shopify Admin to pull in any changes.
Please make sure to set your "Default pickup location" to the one you set up for Shopify Local Pickup. Then click "Save".
The location settings above will determine which location is auto-populated at list time. When the product carrier is changed to "Pickup", the default pickup location is used. When the product carrier is changed to anything else, FedEx for example, default shipping location is used. The Lister can override this on a case-by-case basis by changing the location on the Shopify form.
If the location settings above are not configured, the lister will have to manually select a Shopify location at list time for all shipping and/or pickup items.
Listing flow
Working with Shopify Locations in Lister
Location is required for all Shopify listings. This is how Shopify knows where you'll fulfill from. (This is also essential to the Local Pickup only workflow)
Shopify Listing manager has a column and filter for Shopify location. If you're listing from multiple locations, it can be useful to filter by location.
Location is also visible in the listing view
Caveat: In order to CHANGE an existing listing’s location, the listing state must be in one of the following states: pending (not yet created/listed), delisted (using end early), expired (pulled down after expiration date), recycled, or sold. This helps prevent accidental changes in the listing quantity.
Marking a Shopify order as picked up on Lister will mark as fulfilled on Shopify.
