How to Create and Share NC Purchase Custom Conversion in Facebook (Meta)
What You'll Achieve
After completing this setup, you'll see New Customer metrics such as NC-ROAS (New Customer Return on Ad Spend), Cost per New Customer Purchase, and Total New Customer Conversions directly in your Facebook (Meta) Ads Manager.
Part 1: Add NC Purchase Metrics to Columns
Step 1: Open Column Customization
Navigate to Facebook Ads Manager and click on Columns → then click on Customize Columns
Step 2: Add NC Purchase Metrics
Under Custom Conversions, find your NC Purchase (or NewCustomerPurchase)
Select both:
Total - Shows total new customer conversions
Cost - Shows cost per new customer purchase
Part 2: Set up NC-ROAS Custom Metric
Step 3: Create NC-ROAS Metric
To add NC-ROAS, we need to create a custom metric.
In the Customize Columns window, click on Create custom metric.
Step 4: Configure NC-ROAS Formula
Set up your metric:
Name:
NC-ROAS
Formula:
NC Purchase Conversion Value
÷Amount spent
Click Create metric
⚠️Important: Check "Everyone with access to this Business" if you want to share the metric with your team.
Step 5: Add NC-ROAS to Columns
Include NC-ROAS in your Customize columns if you want to display it there
Click Apply to save all column changes
Success🎉
Your Ads Manager now displays:
NC Purchase (Total) - Number of new customers acquired
NC Purchase (Cost) - Cost per new customer
NC-ROAS - Return on ad spend from new customers
⚠️Important: Initially, no NC Purchase data will appear in Ads Manager because Meta does not support attributing custom conversions from the past. Data only populates for conversions occurring AFTER setup.
