AC Standard Overview

Standard Mode is a simplified version of Autocriteria that puts a focus on setting criteria like users do today. In this mode, we will emphasize the sectional value between listings and then apply a single row range across all selections.

The end result is that the criteria suggestions will look & feel similar to the criteria being set today.

Allows:

  • To select sections and one row range from the map

  • Tuning from settings for general strategy for standard mode

  • Filter results by zone, section level, or venue-wide

Does not allow:

  • Listing by listing tuning of section/row aggressiveness

  • Dynamic row ranges to be set across sections

  • Adjustment of splits, increment, floor or ceiling

AC Standard Best Practices:

Through our internal pricing team’s testing, we have found the following combination of value ranges and filters provide optimal results:

  1. A starting value of 0 for section-level aggressiveness,

  2. A starting value of -3 for row-level aggressiveness.

  3. Enable the Section level filter.

AC Advanced Overview:

Advanced mode is a more data-centric approach, accounting for the value of each row and section individually. The advanced mode will apply dynamic row ranges to each section within a selection. The aggressiveness is decided by the value slider, the bigger the range chosen for a listing, the more that will be included.

The end result is criteria that often appear more aggressive, for example, if the inventory being priced is a back row of a premium section, it may include lower value sections, but only the first rows that share the same value score. Vice-versa, if a listing is a premium row in a less premium section, the row range may be more expansive when pricing against higher value sections.

Allows:

  • To select sections and row ranges from the map

  • Dynamic row ranges set based on specific row values within each section

  • Tuning from settings to set defaults for the value sliders & criteria filters.

  • Filter results by zone, section level, or venue level

  • The ability to adjust the value slider and create more/less aggressive criteria on each listing.

Does not Allow:

  • Adjustment of splits, increment, floor or ceiling

AC Advanced best practices:

Through our internal pricing team’s testing, we have found the following combination of value ranges and filters provide optimal results:

  1. Value Slider: 0-100 range for standard criteria, -5 to 100 for more aggressive strategies.

  2. Enable the Section level filter.

  3. Use a value of 5 for rows beyond own (2-3 for more premium inventory)
