This Ticketmaster Authentication Portal in UpTick allows a user to enter their TM1/TM+ credentials so that we can use these to interact with Trade Desk APIs to correctly bring in market data and recognize your own inventory. However, users need to create a product-specific login for each Automatiq product they are on because TM has indicated that logging in/out will impact all the API Tokens generated using that login. In order to eliminate the same token being used and facing possible connection interruption between products, you can follow the instructions below to create a unique set of credentials for UpTick (and a separate set for Sync if you also have that service):
Navigate to https://one.ticketmaster.com/, login using your TM/1 seller account.
Click on the Gear Icon to open the settings dropdown.
Click here to navigate to active profiles within your organization.
Click "Add User" to add a new profile for Uptick (or Sync) use.
Fill in the user details (we recommend naming this user something related to the product you're creating it for so there's no confusion), then click on the applications tab.
Tip! Use an accessible email for this step as the profile will need to be verified.
Click "Select All" to enable all permissions.
Click "Continue" from the user details page to send the activation email.
Verify the account via the email provided.
Once created, the account needs to be activated on the Ticketmaster TDAPI. To do so, navigate to the "TM Authorization" portion of the Uptick Settings.
REQUIRED ACTION 1: Reset the password of your Uptick TM/1 profile using the TM Authentication portal.
To formally activate your account and authenticate using Ticketmaster’s new access path, you will have to reset the password of your Uptick-Specific TM/1 profile.
Navigate to the “TM Authentication” Portal in Uptick and select “Reset Password”
Input the username for the Uptick-Specific Profile and select “Get Reset Code”
3. You will receive a password reset code in the email from Ticketmaster (apisupport@ticketmaster.com)
4. Input the email address, password reset code, and new password
5 .Submit Using “Change Password”
Required Action 2: Re-authenticate your Uptick-Specific TM/1 Profile using the newly-set password.
Once your new password is set, please log in to the Ticketmaster auth portal in Uptick using that Username and Password.
2. If successful, the portal will show “Authenticated as: Your Company Name”
At this point you should be all set!
If you have any issues with this process, please contact our support team at upticksupport@automatiq.com for assistance.
