For Skybox and TN POS 11 Customers that utilize tags, you can manage your Uptick workflow by taking advantage of our Session Tags & Account Tags Functionalities.

At the top right-hand side of the Uptick Homepage, you will see a tags icon. When selected, it will bring up a modal to manage and set your tags.

Adding Account Tags

For any tag you'd like to use on your account, it first needs to be added to the "Account Tags" from the tags modal.

  1. Navigate to the Account Tags Tab

  2. Type in the tag you would like use to filter your account and click "Add New Account Tag"

  3. Save Changes. Please note, it may take up to 10 minutes to sync your account fully with tags.

Setting Account (Global) Tags

Once tags are added to your account, they can be used to filter the account on a global level. By using the checkboxes on the tag/anti-tag columns, you will be setting the account to only sync by what in those tags.

If an account Tag is applied, Uptick will only pull in inventory containing that tag.

If an account Anti-Tag is applied, Uptick will exclude any inventory containing that tag.

These changes will be applied to all users on the account.

  1. Select the account tag or anti-tag you'd like to apply to the your account from the list of added tags and save.

  2. Upon the next log-in, only listings containing that tag will be loaded into uptick.

  3. If you re-open the "Tags" modal, you'll see that in the "Sessions Tags" tab, the account tag set previously is being applied.

4. You can adjust those values and click "set session tags" and uptick will reload based on those selections.

Session Tags

Once tags are added to an account, whether they are set as the "Default" account tag or not, they can be used at any time to refilter the account.

  1. Once a tag is added to the account tag list, they will show up under session tags in the tags modal.

  2. Select the relevant tags or anti-tags you want to load the account with & select "set sessions tags"

  3. The account will then reload and only include/exclude the selected tags.

Limiting Users to Only Certain Tags

Uptick does have the ability to set accounts to only load certain inventory for certain users (and restrict them from altering the tags), but this needs to be set up by the uptick support team.

If you would like to leverage this functionality on your account, reach out to the Uptick support team and provide the User name, uptick user email, and the tag that you would like to restrict their account to.
