Sessions tags are a way to filter what inventory is loading in UpTick. By default, all available inventory in your POS will show up in UpTick if no customization has been enabled. You have options to see certain inventory by using Session Tags. In order to properly use this, you will need to create tags in your POS that you can use to segment your inventory, then you can mirror those tags you set in your POS within UpTick by clicking on the Session Tag button:

Currently no session will be assigned to your account:

Navigate to the “Account Tags” button so you can add and/or remove available tags by which you filter inventory from your account, and decide if you would like to assign a default tag to the account overall when you first log in

The “Session Tags” will give you the ability to apply an existing tag to filter through the current inventory to only show certain inventory.

Steps to Set this Up:

You can click on Account Tags and Add tags (these should match the inventory tags you use in your POS) to make selection available:

In about 15-20 minutes, the tags will become available on the account. Once that time has passed, reopen the session tags dialog box and stay on the “Session Tags” button to view what is available. Depending on how many tags you added, your page may look like:

Once you have your tags loaded, you can choose to only view (tag) or exclude (anti-tag) specifically tagged inventory in UpTick.
