Why can't I activate Upword's AI notes/Audio/Uplight?

Hello learners!

First - we apologize. Our goal is to serve you well 100% of the time and provide you with exceptional value while you read and learn. We'll get there!

Our AI features are limited in some ways:

  1. We do not support documents above 100 pages (Basic/Pro).

  2. We don't support documents that are not text-based. Meaning, if your doc is full of images, graphs, formulas etc. with too little text, Upword won't be able to help.

  3. When complexed OCR is required, our AI features take more time than usual due to a longer processing time. Some very blurred, scanned and old docs may fail here as well.

  4. We only support English based documents with our AI powers. You can still upload other language docs and manually summarize them.

As mentioned, we do apologize if you had a bad experience, we thank you for your understanding and patience.

We are working our a** off to make sure we provide the best reading & summary creation experience in the world. Soon to be a reality.
