Upword Pro is our best, most comprehensive subscription. It includes all the best features and functionalities that will take your content workflow to the next level.

How much does it cost?
Upword Pro is offered with a free 7-day trial so anyone can try it out. Only after these 7 days we charge our first payment for the service.
The Upword Pro costs $12.5/month on an annual plan or $15/month on a month by month plan. The annual plan effectively gives you 2 Pro months for free.

Upword Basic
Upword Basic is our freemium tier and is provided for free.
It includes all great features and functionalities except for the AI-based features.

So basically, even if you decide to leave out the AI, you can still use Upword as your content workflow one-stop-shop, read learn and create summaries manually and share them with your friends and colleagues.
7-day Free Trial
We have made a conscious decision that we want every Upword new subscriber to start off as a Pro subscriber, and enjoy 7 days of our best offering, for free. This is why we simply do not offer to start off with a Basic account.
We see this as a gift but also understand folks that do not feel comfortable with adding their credit card upon signing up, even if the first week is free.
Hopefully, with time, we will provide so much value to our early adopters and the rest will see there is nothing to it - and join us as well.
The sign up process
Every person who joins Upword will have a 7-day trial period with Upword Pro, for FREE. All features open and available.
After 7 days every user will get charged for the monthly subscription fee, unless they actively downgrade to Basic tier.
In such case - the AI features will lock.
Basic users can always upgrade to Pro and unlock the AI superpowers.
Why can't we provide Upword Pro for free?
Our artificial intelligence is top tier and the processing power it requires cost us a lot of money. This is why we can't allow to give it away for free. Even so - we decided to grant a week of free usage to show people how much value they can get - and then charge for the magic.
Upword Chrome Extension
Last but not least - our Chrome extension.
This is where we really tried to go all out and offer free value to everyone on the planet.
Our Chrome extension only has one feature, which we consider one of our best features of course - the AI notes!
This add-on is free of charge, and can be accessed from our website or the extension store. Upon adding it to the Chrome browser, pin it to the top and start reading online articles 10x faster.
The AI notes will automatically extract key ideas from the text and form notes for you, within moments. It is truly amazing and saves valuable time every single day.
