Upword Basic is our freemium tier and is provided for free.

It includes all great features and functionalities except for the AI-based features.

What can you do with the Basic tier:

  2. Add tags, filters and organize your content for life

  3. Read your content and create manual summaries with:

    1. Our "Capture" feature (adding information from the text to your notepad)

    2. Add comments

    3. Add attachments

    4. Edit your notes, and notes layout

    5. Search within articles or library

    6. Publish notepad to an online article

    7. Share your summaries

So basically, even if you decide to leave out the AI, you can still use Upword as your content workflow one-stop-shop, read learn and create summaries manually and share them with your friends and colleagues.

How to get upword basic

Upword Basic is available to every Upword subscriber upon downgrading from the Pro tier. So:

  1. First sign up to Upword

  2. Start your 7-day Pro trial (Free!)

  3. Before the 7 days pass, simply cancel your Pro subscription

  4. You will automatically become a Basic tier

  5. You have free access to Upword and the Basic features
