How do you find and apply the customer referral code?

  • Unique referral codes are generated for every customer in your customer list

  • Internally you can find these by clicking into a customer's profile page and looking at the referral info section beneath their profile picture

  • Customers can obtain their own referral code to give out to other people to which they'd like to refer your business in three (3) different ways:

    • you can send them their referral code or QR code from the info section of their profile (see screenshot below), or,

    • the customer will be able to find their referral code or QR code at the bottom of all of their own customer facing pages, such as approval request pages, proposal request pages, payment request pages, and subscription request pages (see screenshot below)

    • (optional) you can include a customer's referral code as a dynamic field in short-term reminder messages and also in a message campaign in the message center

  • To apply referral codes internally:

    • simply click "Apply Adjustment" within the line items section of their job or order (see screenshot below)

  • To apply referral codes in the Virtual Shop

    • customer simply clicks "Coupon, eGift Card, Referral" button in the line items section of the checkout panel (see screenshot below)

  • Once a referral code is applied in either place, the job or order will automatically be discounted according to your tiers

  • The credit to the referrer will not be put on the referrer's account until the job is marked "Complete" or the order is marked "Fulfilled"

  • Credits (money earned by the referrer) can also be applied within jobs and orders by using the "Apply Adjustment" and "Credit" buttons in the line item section

  • NOTE: (see screenshot below for all)

    • To see how many times a customer's referral code has been used, see the "Referrals" line within the customer's referral section

    • To see a list of jobs and orders in which this referral code has been applied, click on this 'Referrals' line

    • To see the credit balance a customer (the "Referrer") has earned as a result of having the referral code applied to jobs that were marked complete, or orders that were marked as fulfilled, see the "Credit Balance" section at the top of their customer profile page

    • if you have a code and need to know who the customer is: You can go to app.urable.com/customers/enter referral code here. Enter the referral code that you have to the end of the url above (instead of 'enter referral code here'), click on it and it will give you the customer. The referral code is simply the customer ID.

    • A CUSTOMER WILL NOT BE ABLE TO APPLY THEIR OWN REFERRAL CODE TO THEIR JOBS OR ORDERS

    • IF A REFERRAL CODE IS USED, THE CUSTOMER WHO'S CODE WAS USED WILL NOT BE NOTIFIED

    • NOTE: as soon as a new customer uses a referral code and participates in a job that is marked as "Completed," they would move to "Existing" and would no longer be able to use any referral code.
