NOTE:
Though all permissions are 100% customizable, by default, Urable has the settings in Preferences > Permissions set so that Level 3 employees have the most visibility outside of Admin. They usually include your shop managers, sales managers, etc. Level 2 employees have a little less than Level 3 employees and these usually include your techs. Level 1 employees are often contractors that you hire to do specific work for your shop. They are the most limited as far as their visibility.
*There are 4 different 'Roles' an employee can have in Urable:
Admin
business owner or shop manager
access to everything in the account
can edit, delete, create, update
only Admin can
change permissions for levels 1, 2, and 3
see Analytics
export anything
send campaign messages
see employee earnings
view "Activity" page
Level 3
sales person
access to customer contact info, pricing, building out jobs, etc.
no access to higher level analytics in the account
Level 2
technicians
access to calendar, jobs and job info
no access to pricing, customer contact info,
Level 1
subcontractor (person in another business that is doing a few jobs for you)
this is the most locked down role with limited calendar access
only have access to jobs they have been assigned to (all other jobs are not visible to them)
**NOTE: Other than Admin, you can customize access within all three levels in any configuration you'd like
NOTE: Though the above is a suggestion on how you might want your roles set up, we realize that every business operates a little differently; therefore, Urable allows you to customize within each of these roles in Preferences > Permissions
Admin has all permissions locked on (no editing here)
Levels 3, 2, and 1 have "on" and "off" toggles for each permission
can customize within each of the 'collections' on the left
Jobs, Events, Customers, Items, Products/Services, Proposals, Orders, Subscriptions, Payments, Approvals, Inspections, Coupons, eGift Cards, Miscellaneous*
Items in Miscellaneous tend to be customized the most
Customize within each collection what you want employees to have access to and not have access to
