Selling your Business

Here's a list of things to implement when selling your business but keeping Urable intact for the new owner:

  1. Add the new owner as 'Admin' on the account (remove previous owner)

    1. Go to Employees/Resources in the side menu

  2. Change branding/logo (optional)

    1. Go to Preferences > Branding

  3. Add/remove employees as needed

    1. Go to Employees/Resources in the side menu

  4. Update the business profile

    1. Upper left of app, click on business name and "Manage Business"

  5. Change out the payment method for the Urable subscription with the new owner's credit card (and make it the 'default' payment method). Make sure to remove the previous owner's credit card.

    1. Go to "Billing" in side menu (on a browser)

  6. For Stripe or Square, "Disconnect" the previous owner's payment processor and "Connect" the new owner's payment processor (so payments don't go to prior owner's Stripe/Square account and thus bank account

    1. Go to "Integrations" in the side menu

  7. For UrPay, contact Urable's live support to cancel previous owner's UrPay account and, if applicable, contact UrPay to return the card reader. The new owner will need to apply for a new UrPay account

    1. Go to "Integrations" in the side menu

  8. Generally check/change/update other "Integrations" including Quickbooks and Zapier (if the previous owner was hooked up to his Google Calendar or other personal apps through Zapier)

  9. Carfax should be okay to leave

  10. Remove the Rate & Review URL (optional)

    1. Go to Preferences > URL's > Rate & Review

  11. Remove the Meta Pixel ID (optional)

    1. Go to Preferences > Virtual Shop > Meta Pixel

  12. Remove the Google Tag ID (optional)

    1. Go to Preferences > Virtual Shop > Google Tag

  13. Remove two-way texting phone number

    1. Contact Urable live support to remove existing number

  14. Remove verified email/email domain

    1. Contact Urable live support to remove existing email
