Screen Recording on an Android:
Screen recording on an Android device is easy using the built-in Screen Recorder. Swipe down twice from the top of your screen, tap Screen Recorder, choose your audio and touch settings, and tap Start.
Depending on your device manufacturer (like Samsung or Google Pixel), finding and customizing your recorder may vary slightly:
1. Using the Built-In Screen Recorder
Most modern Android devices have a built-in screen recorder in your Quick Settings panel:
Open the panel: Swipe down twice from the top of your screen to fully reveal the quick settings menu.
Find the recorder: Look for Screen Record or Screen Recorder. You may need to swipe left or right to see it.
Customize your settings: Before you start, you can choose whether to record device audio (sounds from the phone), microphone audio, or both, as well as whether to show your touches on screen.
Start recording: Tap Start or Record Screen. A countdown will appear on screen, followed by a red icon indicating the recording has started.
Stop recording: Swipe down from the top of your screen and tap the red Stop button on the screen recorder notification.
2. What to do if "Screen Recorder" is missing
If the button is not in your Quick Settings, you can add it:
Swipe down twice from the top of your screen and tap the Pencil (Edit) icon.
Look through the list of hidden/available buttons. Press and hold the Screen Recorder tile and drag it into the active Quick Settings area.
