How to use Urbanmount safely and responsibly

Urbanmount connects Customers with independent Pros for supported home Services. Clear scope, documented communication, and personal safety precautions help reduce misunderstandings and risk.

  • Know What You Need
Define the Service scope clearly. Communicate products, property conditions, access limits, dimensions, and materials before work begins.

  • Check Profiles and Reviews
Review the Pro’s profile, experience, and Customer reviews. For the limits of insurance-document and screening checks, see the Insurance & Verification Policy.

  • Communicate Thoroughly
Use Urbanmount messaging or calling tools to clarify instructions, request photos, and confirm arrival times or item counts. Keep communications on the Platform so the parties retain a Service record. SafeStay Limited Service Protection applies only when shown for an eligible Service and remains subject to the controlling SafeStay Terms.

  • Adhere to Local Laws and Regulations
Customers and Pros remain responsible for applicable permissions, licenses, permits, and lawful scope. Stop work that appears unsafe or unlawful.

  • Practice Personal Safety
Secure valuables and restrict access to areas unrelated to the Service. End an appointment and contact emergency services if there is an immediate threat.

  • Use the Platform’s Tools
Platform payment, messaging, and issue-reporting tools preserve important records. An off-platform arrangement may affect rights or eligibility under the applicable terms. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy and Fraud and Damage Policy.

  • Respond Promptly to Issues
Pause the Service when safe, document the issue, and contact Support promptly. See How to report misconduct or violations for serious conduct concerns.
