How to connect a Heart Rate Monitor to URUNN?

Written by Iordache Claudiu

Steps to connect:

  1. From the URUNN profile screen, tap Settings and then select Apps & devices.

  2. Tap on Heart Rate Monitor.

  3. In the pop-up that appears, tap Scan for devices.

  4. If a system prompt appears, tap Allow to grant URUNN permission to use Bluetooth.

  5. Ensure your sensor is active (worn on your body or turned on). Once it appears in the "Devices found" list, tap your specific device to connect.

  6. When the "Pairing successful!" screen appears, tap Finish.

What devices connect: Most standard Bluetooth heart rate monitors, including Polar Sense, Polar H10, and other compatible external HR sensors.

What to expect:

  • Enable Heart Rate Broadcast: Some devices require you to enable heart rate broadcast mode before URUNN can read live heart rate data. Please check your device's settings or manual if no heart rate data appears during your workout.

  • Real-time Heart Rate: URUNN will read and record your live heart rate data exclusively for workouts that you start and track directly within the URUNN app.

  • Direct Hardware Connection: This is a direct Bluetooth connection to the sensor itself, not a cloud-to-cloud integration. Workouts recorded separately in the Polar app will not sync URUNN.
