How are my training paces calculated? (Target race time vs. Recent PBs)

We get this question a lot! The short answer is that we use a mix of both to give you the best possible plan.

Here is exactly how it works:

  • Your Target Race Time is the star of the show! It takes priority because getting you across that finish line in your goal time is our main mission.

  • Your Recent PBs & Extra Info are the perfect supporting cast. We use the personal bests and details you shared during sign-up to fine-tune your specific daily paces. This makes sure your training perfectly matches your current fitness level.

In short: we always aim for your big race goal, but we tailor the daily journey specifically to you!
