If you receive the following Quickbooks Desktop linking error:

Transaction amount must be positive. [Error Code: 3180]

It is because QBD allows for a unit price to be negative, however, the total amount must be a positive number. So a -1 qty with a positive unit price will not link. You will need to ensure that the total amount is a positive number and then relink.
