With the Useberry plugin for Figma, you can upload your prototype in 2 different ways:

1) Import prototype with share link
2) Import prototype from Figma document

For both ways, your uploaded prototype will be available for quick access in your workspace's library.

So, let's dive into those 2 methods!

1) Import prototype with share link

Add your prototype’s share link. You can find more details here on how you can get your prototype's share link and use it in the plugin.

When loading your Figma prototypes in Useberry we use Figma’s prototype embed feature so that your prototypes render exactly as they appear in Figma.

Please note that you may encounter issues when loading some prototypes.

This method supports all native Figma's features (interactive components, smart animate, etc.). Also, the prototype will be exactly the same both on Useberry and Figma which means that any change you made in the Figma document will be rendered automatically to your test (Note that you may need to sync your prototype from Useberry in order for results like heatmaps and user flows to receive any changes that you made in Figma and be updated.)

2) Import prototype from Figma document

This method enabled our native integration with Figma and you can select a layer or multiple layers to import your prototype to Useberry.

Making use of existing Figma technology, prototypes are imported to Useberry as high-quality compressed image files. This way prototypes are rendered faster avoiding high loading times.

This method is ideal for simpler prototypes (without animations, interactive components, etc.), especially when you need to test design flows or Preference & first impression tests like First Click and 5 Second Test.
