A/B Study with Sharing Link option :

If you wish to conduct an A/B study with your own audience rather than utilizing our Pool of Participants, you can follow a manual approach for dividing participants between Version 1 and Version 2 of your study. Here's a breakdown of the process:

Create Two Versions: Develop Version 1 and Version 2 of your study, ensuring that they are distinct and represent the different variables or conditions you want to test.

Audience Selection: Choose participants from your own audience who will participate in the study. You have the flexibility to manually select individuals for Version 1 and Version 2 based on your requirements.

Divide and Provide Links: Once you have selected the participants for each version, you need to divide them accordingly. Provide Version 1 participants with the link to participate in Version 1 of the study, and provide Version 2 participants with the link to participate in Version 2. This ensures that participants are directed to the appropriate version based on your manual selection.

Collect Responses: Start collecting responses from participants who access and complete their respective versions of the study. Useberry will record the data and provide you with the necessary information for analysis.

By following this process, you can conduct your A/B study with your own audience by manually selecting participants for each version and providing them with the corresponding links. This method allows for a controlled allocation of participants to the different versions and facilitates data collection for analysis.

A/B Study with our Pool of Participants :

To conduct an A/B study using participants recruited from our Pool of Participants, you will need to create two versions of the study: Version 1 and Version 2. Once you have created Version 1, you can set it live by recruiting participants from the Pool until you reach your desired target number.

Afterward, utilizing Useberry's Custom Blacklist attribute, you can exclude any participant who has already participated in Version 1 of the study. This ensures that participants who have already taken part in Version 1 will not be eligible to participate in Version 2.

To locate Custom Allowlist and Blacklist attributes within Useberry's targeting options, you will need to scroll to the very bottom of the Targeting Attributes list. These attributes enable you to customize and refine the participant pool based on specific criteria or exclusions.

By utilizing Custom Blacklist attribute, you can effectively filter out participants who have already taken part in Version 1, ensuring that they are not eligible to participate in Version 2. This allows for a clear separation of participants between the two study versions and helps maintain the integrity of your A/B study design.
