Connect Userback with monday.com

How to connect a Userback site to monday.com so feedback is added as a new item on the board and group you choose.

Written by Jon

When you connect monday.com, feedback from your site is added as a new item on your chosen board and group, with its annotated screenshot and details attached. This is a 1-way integration: changes in monday.com stay in monday.com.

Before you start

  • Your monday.com address, for example yourcompany.monday.com.

  • A monday.com API token. In monday.com, open your profile picture menu, go to Developers > My access tokens, and copy your token. See monday.com's API token guide if you can't find it.

  • The board and group you want items added to, set up in monday.com.

Connect monday.com

  1. Go to Feedback > Settings > Integrations.

  2. Scroll to the monday.com card and click Connect.

  3. Enter your monday.com Host address and API token.

  4. Choose the Board and Group new items should be added to.

  5. Choose when feedback is sent: Manually, Automatically, or Automatically and Resolve in Userback. For the automatic options, pick which feedback types to include.

  6. Click Test. A test item appears in the group. Check it, then delete it.

If you chose Manually, send individual items by opening a feedback item (or its notification in your Inbox) and clicking Send to monday.com.

Troubleshooting

Items stopped appearing in monday.com

API tokens belong to the person who created them. If that person has left or regenerated their token, the connection stops working. Create a new token, then update it from Workspace Settings > Connected Apps. Check Workspace Settings > Integration Log for the exact error.

My board doesn't appear

Check the account that owns the API token has access to the board.
