Connecting Gong with UserEvidence
Log in to your Gong account with admin access.
Navigate to Company Settings > Ecosystem > API.
Select Create to generate your Access Key and Access Key Secret (Make a copy of both.)
Username = Access Key
Password = Access Key Secret
Provide your Customer Success Manager with both the API Key (Access Key) and API Secret (Access Key Secret)

How It Works
UserEvidence automatically pulls quotes from your Gong call recordings, then scores each one based on specificity, emotional language, and mention of impactful outcomes. The highest-scoring quotes surface as recommendations in your Inbox — ready for you to review and publish as a testimonial.
Access the Responses tab and select Inbox.
Click any recommended quote to review it, add context, and publish it as a testimonial.
(Optional) Customize your testimonial:
Upload a customer headshot.
Enter a testimonial title.
Edit the description text (avoid changing the quote's sentiment or meaning).
Apply Classifiers and Tags
Toggle public availability (control whether the testimonial appears in your public research library)
Important: Select Generate Content Request from the top-right corner of the editor to send the speaker a shareable approval link. They can approve with their name and company details, or choose to remain anonymous.
Once the speaker responds, go to Responses > Inbox > Approval Requests, select the asset, and publish with attribution or as anonymous based on their decision.
