Connecting Slack with UserEvidence
Access the Account Settings menu by clicking your initials in the top-right corner of the screen and selecting Account from the dropdown.
Click the Slack tab, then choose Connect Your Account to Slack.
– You’ll be redirected to Slack.
TIP: Only one user per UserEvidence account needs to complete this for the Slack integration to work.
When redirected to Slack, click Allow to complete your team’s integration with UserEvidence.
Searching for Assets from a Channel or Direct Message
You can search for assets in Slack using natural language search.
Natural Language Search
In any Slack channel or direct message, type /userevidence followed by your search query and press Enter. Results matching your query will appear.
Reviewing and Sharing Assets
Review the search results, then depending on the asset type click:
Get Quote - responds with a quote in plain text to easily copy and use
Get Stat - responds with a stat in plain text to easily copy and use
Share in Slack with the multi action menu
You can also share an asset outside of Slack by selecting either:
Get Link - responds with the share link to the UE asset
Export Image - opens modal to download a PDF or JPG file of the asset
