Is Twain available in every language?

Learn which languages Twain supports and how to set the language for a campaign.

Yes, Twain supports multiple languages. The language selector button has been removed, you now set the language through the chat panel instead.

The supported languages are: English (UK), English (US), Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Polish, Spanish, and Swedish.

How to set the language

During campaign setup (Campaign Brief): When Twain asks its setup questions, just mention the language you want. For example: "Write all messages in German" or "Use French throughout." Twain applies it to the full sequence from there.

After the campaign is created: Open the chat panel in your campaign view and type something like "Switch all messages to French" or "Use German from now on." Twain will apply the change and you can regenerate.

You don't need to adjust your campaign idea, agent, or persona when changing the language — those stay the same.

Why did Twain switch back to English?

If you copy-paste content into a campaign (e.g., a framework, instructions, or example text in another language), Twain may default to English based on the language of that input. To prevent this, explicitly tell Twain which language to use in the chat panel after pasting — for example: "Ignore the language of what I just pasted. Write all messages in German."

If you use a custom framework, make sure any fixed text or salutations are already in the right language. Twain won't automatically translate content you've locked in as a custom element.

Prospects with multiple native languages

Twain uses one language per campaign. If your prospect list includes people who speak different languages, split them by language and run a separate campaign for each. During setup, just specify the language in the Campaign Brief for each campaign.
