The first step to create and receive payments is by setting up your Stripe bank account in your settings and assigning it to your managing company or building projects.


BEST PRACTICE: Only 1 employee from the managing company should have access to this.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
You can only link in a 1:1 ratio, this means you can only link 1 bank account to 1 project.

i.e. Linking 1 bank account to 2 projects will not work. You need to have 1 stripe account for 1 company/project.


  1. Go in your managing company settings and choose the bank account tab.



  2. Go to the bank accounts section on the page:

    1. Click on add a bank account.

    2. A new bank account will be added to the list, click on the "..." icon

    3. Click on go to dashboard

    4. Set up your Stripe account



  3. In the managing company and projects section of the page, associate the bank account to the project and/or company of your choice:

    1. Choose managing company or building project

    2. Click on the dropdown menu

    3. Choose the bank account you want to link

    4. Choose if you want to allow credit card payments by checking the box
