Tori is a self-custodial wallet you control secured by your biometrics. This means no one, not even Tori, holds or has access to your funds.

Access to Tori is secured by Apple or Google Passkeys. Passkeys is an authentication method that is a safer alternative to passwords as it is verified by both your biometrics and Apple or Google’s Cloud additional security measures.

If you lose your phone, you can recover your passkey via your Apple or Google account!

In other words, you can still access Tori even if you lose your phone! Just download the app again on a new phone and use your passkey to login
