The short version
UZO is a simulated prop trading firm. You trade against real live market prices using simulated capital, you follow a clear set of rules, and you keep 90% of the simulated profit as a real reward paid to you. No live capital is ever at risk.
We call this Syn-Fi: synthetic finance. The prices are real, pulled from third-party market feeds. The spreads and commissions are real and applied uniformly to everyone. The capital is simulated. The rewards you earn are real money. That combination lets you prove and grow real trading skill without ever risking your own balance in the market.
This article is the front door. Read it once and you will understand what UZO is, how it works, and what to click next.
What UZO is in one sentence
UZO is a firm that lets you demonstrate trading discipline on a simulated account, and rewards you with real payouts when you trade well and stay within the rules.
If you have heard the term prop trading firm, that is the family we belong to. The difference is that we are honest about the mechanics: the account is a high-fidelity simulation running on real prices, not a pool of live client money. That is a feature, not a caveat. It means your risk is capped at the cost of your account, and your upside is paid in real currency.
How the whole thing works (the loop)
The entire model fits in one line: prove your skill on an evaluation or buy an instant account, trade within the rules, then keep 90% of the simulated profit as a real payout.
Choose your path. Take a one or two step evaluation to demonstrate skill before you get a funded simulated account, or buy an Instant account and skip the evaluation entirely.
Trade within the rules. Respect the drawdown limits and the few banned practices (shown on your dashboard for your specific account), and trade however you like otherwise.
Get paid. Request a payout and keep 90% of the profit. The firm keeps 10%. That split is fixed at every account size.
You keep 90%
On every payout, 90% of the simulated profit goes to you and 10% goes to the firm. The split never changes as you scale up. Payouts are approved in under an hour and clear within 12 hours, by bank transfer or crypto.
One more thing worth knowing up front: your evaluation fee is refunded to you on your first reward payout. Pass, trade well, get paid, and the cost of entry comes back.
What you trade and on which platforms
You trade real instruments at real prices: forex, metals, crypto, indices, stocks and energies. Leverage is 1:100. You can run expert advisors and bots, custom indicators, copy trading on your own account, news trading, overnight positions and weekend trades. The only banned practices are the ones that game the simulation itself, such as latency or HFT arbitrage and tick exploitation.
You can start small and grow large. Accounts begin from $5K (from $39 to start), and you can hold up to $1M, then scale beyond that through our scaling plan toward $4M.

Who this is for (and the honest part)
UZO is built for traders who want their discipline measured fairly and rewarded properly. It is not a shortcut to easy money, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Here is the honest part: most evaluations do not pass. That is true of every serious firm, and it is the point. The rules exist to surface real skill and consistent risk control, not luck. If you trade with a plan and respect your limits, this model rewards you generously. If you gamble, it will find you out. We would rather tell you that now than after you have paid.
To keep your progress safe while you build it, every account runs a Dynamic Risk Shield. It trails your equity upward as you profit, then locks in your starting balance once you cross the profit threshold, so a single bad run cannot erase the progress you have already locked.
