Can I change my trading platform after I buy?

Your platform is chosen at checkout. If you need a different one later, support can tell you what's possible.

Short answer

Your trading platform is set when you buy your account. If you picked one and now want another, do not buy a second account. Email support@uzo.com with your account details and we will tell you whether a change is possible and what it involves.

Whatever happens with the platform itself, one thing does not change: your objectives, rules, leverage and reward split stay exactly the same. The platform is the cockpit, not the contract.

Why you choose at checkout

When you purchase a UZO account, you select your platform as part of that order: MetaTrader 5, TradeLocker or MatchTrader. Your account credentials and server are then provisioned for that specific platform, which is why the choice is tied to the purchase rather than something you flip on and off inside your dashboard.

That is also why it pays to choose deliberately. The three platforms differ in how they look and feel, what tools they include and what runs on them (for example, automated strategies built in MetaTrader's MQL5). The trading prices and conditions are the same across all three, so the choice comes down to which environment you prefer to trade in.

Asking support about a change

If you have already bought and want a different platform, the right move is to contact us rather than guess. Whether a switch can be made, and any conditions that apply, are handled case by case by our team.

To get a clear answer quickly, email support@uzo.com and include:

  • The email address on your UZO account

  • Your account or order reference

  • The platform you have now and the one you would like

  • Whether you have started trading on the account yet

Please do not purchase a second account just to get the other platform unless support tells you that is the right path. Reaching out first usually saves you time and money.

Your rules stay the same either way

A platform change never changes what you are trying to achieve. Every UZO platform runs the identical program for the product you bought, so your profit target, drawdown limits, minimum trading days and time limits are unchanged.

Stays identical across platforms

Detail

Leverage

1:100 on every account

Reward split

90% trader / 10% firm, fixed at every size

Objectives

Same targets, drawdown rules and trading days for your product

Pricing

Same real spreads and commissions, applied uniformly

The part that matters most

No matter which platform you trade on, you keep 90% of your simulated profit. The split never moves.

US traders and MetaTrader 5

If you are in the United States, there is one limit to know: MetaTrader 5 is not available to US users. That means you cannot move an account onto MT5 from a US location, and US traders should choose TradeLocker or MatchTrader instead.

Both of those are fully supported, run the same products and conditions, and let you do everything an evaluation or funded account requires. So a US trader loses nothing on objectives or rewards by trading on TradeLocker or MatchTrader.
