🚀 Updated timeline (July 2026): During final compliance checks, Adyen identified a few areas where system protections could be further strengthened, and they're fully implementing those enhancements before shipping devices. The live pilot is now scheduled to begin the week of August 24, 2026. General Availability depends on how the pilot goes — in the best-case scenario, about 6 weeks after the pilot starts (early October 2026). This article is here so you and your merchants can get familiar with the device ahead of launch.
